“Misleading photos, zero privacy, unacceptable cleanliness, and extremely noisy: it was almost impossible to sleep.”
The central location was a plus, yet the hotel feels like it was built inside a shopping mall: a long central corridor with bedrooms instead of shops, rooms that basically look like glass storefronts facing the corridor, and the photos on Booking are misleading – none of the pictured rooms matched the one we received. There are no proper windows; ventilation comes only from open grilles above the glass frontage, so there is no sound insulation. Anything happening in your room can be heard in the corridor, and you can hear everything in the other rooms as well. I don’t understand Spanish well enough to repeat exactly what the woman in the room opposite was saying, but it was like having her inside our room; she also had her TV on and it sounded as if it were our own TV playing inside our room. The cleanliness was unacceptable: we found other people’s hair and body hair in the bed sheets, which was disgusting and made us seriously question whether the bedding had been properly changed and cleaned before our arrival. The water is not drinkable, so you have to buy bottled water to brush your teeth. To top it all off, when we opened the fridge we found a half‑drunk Red Bull inside. Overall: zero privacy, no proper ventilation, constant noise, questionable cleanliness and basic hygiene issues that you simply would not expect from a hotel.
