It was a beautiful, peaceful place in the evening and I loved the freedom of the peacocks. The hot tub was great once we figured out how to use it. The owners were always on hand and very helpful. There were a lot of flies inside the lodge, but since it’s in the countryside by a pond I’m not sure that can be avoided.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel, with its luxurious pods offering everything I needed, from an en-suite bathroom to a fully-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. The added extras, such as a BBQ and decking area, made it feel like home. The hot tub and beautiful grounds were the perfect way to unwind, and the owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I was also impressed by the variety of amenities, including a 2-bedroom cottage and a unique 1937 Northern line tube carriage.
