“Nadie en recepción...”
The location is good, just a 5‑minute walk to Hakata Central Station, and the room is a normal size for a Japanese hotel but clean with comfortable bed and pillows; near a small park, the area was quiet and no noise at night. However, there was only one receptionist on the day I checked in. I needed help moving my luggage to the next hotel and had to visit reception at different times, but no one was there. I left a message via the app and received no reply. In the morning of the 31st I left a note at the reception desk, and still no response. I understand a hotel may not have 24‑hour reception, but if there’s no one all day, it’s not a hotel; it feels like a tourist apartment. What would have happened if there was an emergency or something malfunctioned? The QR code given by the check‑in staff had information, but no phone number or instructions on what to do if I needed to talk to someone, nor was there any in my room.
