“Modern rooms , easy parking, pleasant park”
The rooms were modern and had air conditioning, but on weekends the Nature Reserve was inaccessible, limiting on‑site walks and there was no walk to Ickleford; the gates were locked and a keypad with a staff code might help. The park does have interesting wildlife like muntjac deer and herons.
“Overpriced, poor food options”
Arriving, the main restaurant was shut down and I had to eat in an auditorium‑like area, which felt very uncomfortable and the menu was limited. The Wi‑Fi kept dropping, and each reconnection attempt took about 15‑20 minutes.
“Great stay, ticked all the boxes”
The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, giving me a great night's sleep. Breakfast was fantastic, and if we visit the area again, we’ll definitely return.
“Would not stay again more a student accommodation”
