“A Pub with great food and pleasant rooms.”
There was a great outdoor area for drinks and excellent food at the restaurant, and the room was lovely with a gorgeous bed and superb décor. However, because we were at the front of the hotel, the noise from a busy road outside was loud and we had to open the windows as the room was very hot. The wash hand basin was a little small and you couldn’t adjust the central tap hard enough to fill the kettle.
Everything was excellent—great facilities and pleasant staff—though it was a bit pricey, it was still worth it.

The atmosphere was great, the accommodation cozy and clean, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast and dinner were very good, and there was nothing else to say.
The pub itself was fine, but we booked a room with a sofa bed for one of our children only to find the room didn’t have one; we weren’t told this even when shown the room, and after switching rooms we definitely had a downgrade. The bathroom’s fake tiles were a real highlight, and the staff were average at best.

The room was stunning, very clean, and we were allowed to check in early for our wedding; the roll‑top bath was an added bonus that made our stay extra special, with nothing negative.
