“Klimatyczne miejsce z pięknym widokiem i świetnym basenem, ale...”
The place was very nice and atmospheric for a larger group—there were 12 of us and the house worked well for that size. The biggest highlight was the excellent pool with a fantastic valley view, especially at night. The house has two kitchens and is quite well equipped, with practical items on site such as towels, disposable toiletries, dishwasher capsules, dish soap, and basic kitchen supplies. We also liked the high‑mountain slope location, which provided quiet, privacy, and beautiful views.
The biggest downside was the extra electricity costs. We read the meter before and after the stay, and the consumption was about 210 kWh in a week with normal use of lights, washing machine, and dishwasher. The manager charged 0.70 EUR/kWh, roughly twice the market rate for electricity in Italy, which was confusing. The house was very hot because there is no air conditioning. With temperatures of 35–40 °C we had to constantly keep windows and shutters closed. For a larger group the second fridge was also a problem—medium size, low efficiency, and too small for 14 guests. The kitchens were generally well equipped, but with a larger group there were not enough practical items in the right quantity and size. There were too few cups, glasses, and cutlery, and the pots and pans were mainly very large. Smaller dishes needed for everyday use, like boiling a few eggs, warming a small portion of food, or preparing breakfast for part of the group, were missing. A major issue was one of the dishwashers. Throughout the stay dishes were not rinsed properly. Only on the last day did we discover that the washing arms, the nozzles or “blades” distributing water, were not working correctly. With 12 people this was very inconvenient and often required re‑washing dishes by hand. In the kitchen we had to be very careful with trash segregation and watch out for ants—everything left on the counter quickly attracted them. The road to the house was demanding, sometimes off‑road, because the house is high on the mountain slope. Other negatives include the high deposit of 500 EUR and the lack of a television, which especially disappointed the youth. The WiFi in the house was very weak and slow.
