The hotel sits quietly just a stone's throw from the Madeleine temple, giving a calm vibe despite the proximity. Walking along the main street to the opera is easy, making for a pleasant stroll on good weather days, and the location is handy for shopping and sightseeing. The facilities are fine but a bit dated; arriving at night the hallway was pitch black, probably due to power saving, and I had to use my phone flashlight to locate the keyhole. The front desk’s key‑deposit system felt a little uneasy when I needed to leave.

Very well soundproofed, the bedding quality is excellent. The breakfast room is cramped, forcing the breakfast to be served on a well‑furnished tray.
