The hotel sits in a great spot, the rooms are roomy, the lobby and dining area are spacious, there's a water station, staff were helpful, but the Wi‑Fi in our room was weak and breakfast was repetitive.

I stayed three consecutive days at this hotel, and I was very happy; I liked the location, the friendliness of the staff, the dining room, which was magnificent, and the exceptional breakfast! The large reception hall with its comfortable sofas in its old Soviet décor! The rooms were also old‑fashioned but comfortable 😍. The air conditioning was old and noisy, and the Wi‑Fi in the rooms was very weak.

The location is fantastic and breakfast is amazing, but the style feels a bit old.

Prime location near the Cathedral of Ascension. Metro nearby. Green Bazaar also, although now it's not a big highlight. The breakfast hall is a sight to behold. The hotel itself is "historically" worth it (architecture, interior).

Location is perfect, I appreciate the brutalist architecture but the hotel is generally run down. The breakfast room is amazing compared to the actual breakfast. It would be great if someone bought the place and restored it to its former glory as it is an iconic piece of Soviet architecture. There was nowhere to get a drink or even coffee. Two bars used to be here but both were shut.
