“Well maintained and very clean.”
The hotel is regal, refined, and impeccably maintained, with wonderful, obliging, and well‑mannered staff, excellent housekeeping, and hot water. It’s central to Surabaya’s Ampel Mosque, but I was a bit disappointed by the limited menu; the items we enjoyed—three servings of Pisang Choco and avocado juice—were gone for the remaining ten days (Java must have run out of bananas), though the day before checkout we could finally get avocado juice again.
