“Prestation médiocre”

The metro was close enough, but the address listed in the ad didn’t match the actual location twice. The first time it was fine, but the second time it was awful: a second‑floor room reached by a 50‑centimetre wide stair, an absurdly small room, no table or chair, no curtains, no blinds or blackout drapes for the night, a tiny barred window, no heating or air‑conditioning, no smoke detector, and fire escape was hard to reach. The staff were barely available when we arrived.

The description was misleading. The neighborhood was dirty and rough, the reception was handled by a neighbor who didn’t speak English, the room felt like a cramped closet in a shared apartment, and it was noisy and unclean—definitely not worth it.
