The rooms and atmosphere were very good. The access road is completely unsuitable for motorcycles—only off‑road bikes can handle the gravel path.

The location is beautiful, ideal for visiting Montalcino and the whole Val d’Orcia. The rooms are cozy, clean, and spacious; the owner, Mrs. Marcella, is fantastic! The breakfast products are excellent, the wine selection is superb, and we’ll definitely return and recommend it to everyone.

There was no refrigerator in the room, so fresh water was impossible to get. It was hard to find, and the daytime sign was unreadable, even though the night lighting was very good.

The place is wonderful, just a 7‑8 minute walk from Montalcino’s center. Marcella was lovely with us. We understood each other perfectly despite the language difference. Everything was perfect, tidy, and organized. I would return without hesitation. Nothing I didn’t like.

The old cottage was gorgeous, the produce gardens beautiful, and it’s close enough to town for a walk to dinner. The host was very welcoming and quick to communicate; parking was easy and there were minimal steps. We had the place to ourselves in July. The bed was a standard innerspring but surprisingly comfortable.
