The staff here really know how to make you feel welcome, especially Mr James who went out of his way to help us. He's a kind and supportive guy who made our stay much nicer.

We had a bit of a rough start with our room smelling like cigarettes, but the staff were on it and brought in an air purifier which helped. Still, it wasn't the best experience overall - a bit of a letdown.

This hotel's got a great location - super quiet and reasonable prices, plus free parking which is a big plus. It's also cheaper than the Hilton near the border, and about a 15-minute drive to the border. They even provide free toiletries for kids, which is thoughtful. One downside is the breakfast selection - it's a bit limited, and I've had better value for money at a Hilton in Guangzhou. The area's also pretty isolated, so don't expect quick delivery from food places.

The bed was really comfy, which was a plus, but check-in was a nightmare and it took three receptionists to sort us out. And honestly, the lobby toilets were disgusting - cockroaches, cigarette butts, and mess everywhere. Not a great first impression!
