The location was good, the bed was comfortable, and the room came with amenities (electric kettle, fridge, coffee, tea, and disposables). The elevator only works after you go up one floor by stairs. The bathroom is unusable for an average person; I don’t know if everyone feels the same, but the room we were given was truly disappointing. The staff are not very friendly overall, though they get the job done.
The experience was a very authentic Venice stay. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival, and the staff were genuine and courteous. However, the other room doors and guests using them would slam the door behind them early in the morning; most people don’t realize how to hold back a hotel room door to avoid disturbing others. The doors can be adjusted so they don’t slam, but most hotel owners overlook this. I’m smarter than the door, so I don’t let it slam.
“Fantastic first time stay in Venice.”
The spot was perfect, the morning juice hit the spot, the bed was super comfy, and the bartender was awesome!
“Tolles Wochenende”
Great location. Many mosquitoes.
“Great position, awesome feel couldn't fault”
Getting to the hotel was straightforward via Water Taxi No 1 from the station, and the walk to St Mark’s Square and San Marco was easy; the hotel’s bar was great and I loved it!
