There was nothing positive to mention. The building felt old and moldy, it wasn’t very clean, and the front desk staff were practically absent. We had to buy sheets for the bed and towels for the shower. I will never stay there again.
The only perk was how close it was to The West Acres Mall. The rooms were in terrible condition. The first room had a broken toilet seat, so they moved us. The second room was even worse: the bathroom door handle was very loose, the front door was coming off its hinge, so it was crooked and you had to lift it to close. Both rooms smelled like sewer; we bought an air freshener to try to mask it. There was loud banging all night—like a gunshot, though it wasn’t a gun. When you lay down, the bed made a strange noise. The stay was a nightmare; I’d look elsewhere for accommodation in Fargo.
The location was fantastic, just minutes from everything. The property is very old and needs some TLC—carpet has rips and tears, and our bedding, while clean, had stains and holes in the sheets. There was no water available at breakfast.
