We tweaked the Trasu Fisherman’s trail so we wouldn’t have to go inland via Vila do Bispo; this accommodation fit our plan perfectly. We left the ocean about 3.5 km before the lodging and the next day headed toward Cabo de São Vicente, passing abandoned pastures outside civilization. We knew there was no chance to buy food on the way, so we stocked up and had a necessary water filter. A local farmer lives next door with a large pack of dogs behind a fence; when they bark you know a car or a walker is coming. The lodging itself was nice, clean, and fully adequate for sleeping and resting. The weather during our stay was ideal—mild breeze, no mosquitoes. The only issue, as mentioned in several reviews, was the kitchen’s cleanliness.
