The décor is nice and appealing, the entrance is friendly, and the shared dining area is good; our balcony room overlooking the park was excellent, everything was clean, and the option to grab fresh towels on our own was a plus—overall very quiet. The built‑in shower and toilet setup works, yet there is still a lingering odor and dampness despite good ventilation, and the lift system is a bit awkward to use, though it is technically necessary.
“There will be my last stay.”
I chose the place because of its excellent location, but I was disappointed by the services. There was no elevator, and the first two days had no service at all.
“This stay was saved by a well-placed fan!”
At first I did not like that there was no air circulation or fan in my tiny room, but the property manager took care of that immediately! Even upgraded my room! From then on, the space got very comfortable and was very clean and had nice little touches. Took a lot of stairs to get in and out of my space, might be worth mentioning to some of us Elder folk. You've got to walk about 3/4 of a mile to get to the closest bus stop for access to the Main roads. While I got lucky at the end, I highly recommend making sure all guest rooms have circulating air of some kind, a small 12" fan at a minimum
“Schöne Pension in Berliner Villa”
The pension is well furnished in a lovely Berlin villa; our room was spacious, tidy, and tastefully decorated. The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower head, but the absence of a shower curtain means you have to be careful when showering. Those who enjoy bathing will appreciate the tub. The room also has a water‑cooled air conditioner; the cooling packs can be chilled in the communal kitchen fridge, though we didn’t need the cooling in September. We especially liked the well‑furnished communal area, which offers seating, a fridge, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee machine with pods, a kettle, tea, and bottled water. Our four‑day stay in Berlin was pleasant and the pension proved to be a good accommodation. The missing shower curtain in the bathtub remains a drawback.
