“No frills stay, but comfortable and inviting.”
The location is very central. We were alone, so we had the whole second floor to ourselves, and the room was very clean and comfortable. It had a mini fridge and a coffee station, and the host was very helpful and pleasant. The balcony was nice and the view of the waterfall was good. Because the hotel sits on the main road, it can get a bit noisy for a while, and the low beams make it easy for tall people to hit their heads.
The owner was very friendly and welcoming.

The drive up the Swiss mountains was a real treat – a winding ride that set the mood before I even saw the wooden house. Inside, the rustic charm and quiet vibe were spot on. I’d say the location is unbeatable for anyone craving a peaceful escape.

The building is very old, but the room was clean. The bathroom was renovated and is very large. In addition to the bedroom there was a lounge with a small fridge and a kettle. Some pastries, 2 apples and 2 bottles of water were available. Outside the room there is a balcony with morning sun. Near the accommodation there is a bakery / small shop, and the fine restaurant Wasserfall. The room is quite dark because the roof protrudes. A bit of décor or a few pictures on the walls would enhance the place. A few utensils and 2 plates would be great. The host was not personally present; the parents showed me the room. I think I was alone in the house for both days.
