The breakfasts were outstanding, featuring local products of great quality that changed daily; after a timely briefing from the lovely Mrs. Giulia or her husband, our selections were brought to the table. I was lucky to arrive on the day they offered a hot zabaione that reminded me of my mother’s, and the cakes made by them—my wife and brothers‑in‑law said they were all superb, especially the scrambled eggs cooked with Val di Fassa eggs from a Moena farm, the jams, and the excellent mountain butter spread on locally produced bread.

The room’s Tyrolean style theme was super nice! The staff, Giulia and her husband, were exceptional! My only suggestion is to add a few samples of shampoo, soap, and body cream in the bathroom.

“The centerpiece of an epic visit to Italy, we hope to return to Moena.”

We were surprised to discover that our stay coincided with a weekend festival, and the central location worked well for us. Breakfast was excellent, with an impressive selection and generous portions. The host and her staff were charming and helpful, and the small lobby bar area was nice too. The only drawback was that we couldn’t stay longer.
