Not far from the main road with food and shops, but right near I‑95 so it’s very noisy and makes it harder to fall asleep. I was in a room facing the back of the building (closer to the highway) and right across from the stairwell, so I heard the door slam all hours of the evening and night.

The hotel was beautiful, clean, and smelled fresh. I just wish I could have gotten a room; sleeping in the lobby was not my plan. After driving 10 hours, my husband and I arrived at the hotel around 11 PM. No one was there, so we waited in the lobby until 5 AM when the clerk walked up, woke us, and asked if we needed help. We told him we wanted to check into the room we had reserved. When we went to check in, he said our reservation was canceled and that we would have to pay an extra $100 for early check‑in. He claimed he had a family emergency and that’s why he wasn’t there. However, he had saliva marks on the side of his face, a goober in his eye, and pillow marks on his face as well; he was obviously sleeping in the back while on the clock. It was absolutely unacceptable. At least he got a good night’s rest. There were at least four other people who had reserved rooms and were unable to check in. Your front desk clerk is causing your hotel to lose money and then tries to charge an additional $100 because of his negligence. Unacceptable and uncourteous. He showed no regret for the situation he put us in. Thankfully, we found another hotel, but unfortunately we had to pay a $50 early check‑in fee because someone didn’t want to do their job.

Overall the facility was decent. The curtains in the bedroom were shredding and the carpet in the bedroom was damaged. The rooms looked drab, too much brown. They definitely need an update. I didn’t like the color scheme and furniture.

A spacious room, right in the middle of the city with plenty of restaurants just a stroll away, but the guest elevator looked more like a freight lift than a passenger one.
