It’s a shame; you rent rooms (without keys) in a cold, dark, dirty, and foul-smelling house with no heating. The Asian woman who runs it barely speaks English and tells you to leave if you’re not satisfied, but she won’t refund you. The listing doesn’t say you’re renting a room. The location is decent because the metro is next door, but it’s not worth it. If you just want to sleep and don’t mind the cold and bad odor, it’s cheap, but if you want to enjoy your stay, don’t book here.

“Horrible”

The only positive was the proximity to the metro and the Thames – we only stayed one night! Everything else was terrible: the accommodation didn’t match the photos; you think you’re renting an apartment but it’s actually a room in an apartment. A room for my wife, me, and my two teens. The beds were simple camp beds reinforced with cardboard. The bathroom and toilets were shared. It was all really unclean. The sheets and the single towel for four were filthy. There was no kitchen because all rooms were turned into bedrooms. There was no heating in the room, even though it was 0°C during our stay, and the window didn’t close properly. The apartment’s odor was unbearable. We also had a key retrieval problem; we had to wait for someone to respond. The building itself wasn’t very clean, and to add to the overall vibe, there was a homeless person living in the stairwell. All of this for €170 a night – DO NOT GO! It’s a disgrace that booking allows such places to be listed!

“Run away if you can”

The sheets from previous guests were not washed—just dirty! If you can, run away. Shame on the owner who wasn’t even there.

“Hovel.”

I asked for a refund and was met with a barrage of abuse in Korean. Don’t bother with this shower. The whole thing was a nightmare.
