“Hôtel délabré et sale, bien en dessous de ses 5 étoiles!”

The staff greet you with respect and a smile 😀 The breakfast comes as a buffet. The hotel as a whole would really need renovation: major work is required. We had booked an upper room, which turned out to be dilapidated from floor to ceiling, dark and not very clean. We had to report the issue to reception, with photos, to get a room change. The new room, located in a bungalow, was slightly better, but the cleanliness still left something to be desired — we even found an ant nest next to the sink. Thank you anyway for the fruit platter offered as compensation 🙏🏼 In its current state, this hotel no longer deserves its 5 stars!!

“Beautiful oceanfront location, wonderful staff and complimentary breakfast overlooking the sea, all just a short walk fr”

The oceanfront location is absolutely gorgeous, with large grounds stretching along the water. The complimentary breakfast with an ocean view was a highlight. The staff go above and beyond to help and make you feel welcome. It’s also just a short walk to the shops. A wonderful place to stay—highly recommended! The air conditioning wasn’t cool enough to keep the room comfortable, and the bathroom could use a thorough scrub to get rid of the mould.

The staff and grounds are 5‑star, the room is only 3‑star at best. They want to charge 300000 idr to sit on a sofa at the sunset bar; as a paying guest I find that disappointing.

“Top lokatie met zeer gastvrij personeel”

The staff’s genuine hospitality and customer focus were truly top‑class. However, two of the three restaurants were under renovation, and the menu still mixed Western and Indonesian dishes, which could definitely be improved; if that were better, the stay would easily earn a solid 10.
