The host was very friendly and helpful, always stopping by the cellar almost every day 😇. The cellar is about an 8‑minute walk from the lodging. The room was clean and equipped (though it would be good to add more hangers to the wardrobe – there were only 2). If you like the smell of popcorn, the nearby popcorn‑baking company will fill the area when the wind is right. We appreciated the wine samples kept in the fridge. The room was quite cold – that was fine for me but not for my girlfriend, though I believe the host would have warmed it up if asked (which we didn’t). At first we worried about sharing a bathroom, but that turned out to be fine. The location right next to the tracks is a bit of a habit; trains pass almost under our heads and shake the whole house, but by the second night we didn’t notice it, and thanks to the cold room we could keep the windows closed at night, so it didn’t bother us.

Communication with the owner was excellent, and he even brought us wine from his cellar to taste, which we also visited. The stay, the environment, and the owner were all very good, and we’ll definitely return.
