The location was great, and every staff member was wonderful and helpful. The pool was fantastic—we only used one of the two, but both were great. We dined at the restaurant called Cruize, which had lovely food and a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly and great with kids. The playbarn was fantastic, and my mum visited the spa and said it was excellent. The bed was comfortable. The room was quite warm; we turned the heating off and used a fan, but there was only one window that didn’t open fully (probably for safety), so it stayed hot. I also wished there were a few drinks in the fridge, and the instant coffee was a bit rubbish.

The welcome was of good quality, the room was beautiful, the bed was very good, the pool with sauna and hammam was lovely, the bar with Steven was great, and the restaurant Brambles was well‑situated for visiting Arran Island. The Cruise restaurant, the fact that the room lacks an espresso machine in the morning, and the unfilled minibar were disappointing.
