“Super-small and cramped, no storage space, somewhat dirty.”
The location to SPUM is the only highlight, and the air‑con worked. The unit isn’t a “one bedroom”; it’s an open room split into a hallway, a small kitchenette, and a bed area. As international travelers with four large suitcases, we found there was absolutely no place to store them, so we booked another hotel and left this place an hour after arrival. For the money we got a large hotel room, not this tiny “efficiency” apartment. Several photos listed for the room are definitely not of it—very fraudulent and misleading. The owner took many pictures of the microwave and kitchen to hide the small size. When we first arrived, no one was there to help carry our bags up the steps into the lobby, so I had to bring them up to the 27th floor myself. The lobby and hallways aren’t air‑conditioned, so it was very hot and humid and I was dripping with sweat. The entire “apartment” is literally one room divided into a Filipino toilet and shower, a small kitchenette, and a bed space. The bed area is so cramped; the mattress is pushed against the wall with maybe a foot of space on the other side. There’s zero space to store our four suitcases, two carry‑ons, and two backpacks. The kitchen was somewhat dirty, with visible oil on the glass; it wasn’t professionally cleaned. The cabinets looked like they were going to fall soon. A spot on the bedroom wall once held a picture, but it had long since disappeared, though the hooks remained. One kitchen lightbulb didn’t even work, showing how little the owner cares. The curtains in the bed area didn’t close completely, and the curtain rod was rusty. The cheap rice‑cooker was disgustingly dirty, as were the kitchen walls. The whole place felt like the owner bought it long ago and rents it out as an “investment” without putting any money into upkeep or maintenance.
