The Oranmore Lodge Hotel Conference and Leisure Centre Galway, a 4-star hotel, sits on Galway Bay's shores, 5 minutes from the M6 and 10 minutes from Galway city and airport. Luxurious rooms, an indoor 17-metre pool, sauna, hot tub, steam room, gym, and beauty therapy suite are offered. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout, with nearby village Oranmore offering pubs, restaurants, and scenic walks.

The room was clean, tastefully decorated, and the en‑suite had a powerful shower. The bed was firm, linens fresh and cool, pillows comfy, and the size was just right. Amenities were solid, and the place was very quiet—no noise from neighboring rooms. The temperature was warm but not too hot, and the lobby fire added a nice touch. Reception staff were welcoming and they even offered Bourbon biscuits! The view of the car park was a bit underwhelming, corridors looked poorly decorated and dimly lit, felt oppressive, with stained ceilings and worn carpet on the steep staircase. No EV charging point was available when I needed it in the morning. The TV selection was limited, and hot water ran out by the second shower at 9:30.

The room was huge and spotless. They had no restaurant menu, and when I asked for a Red Bull at reception they added 5€ to my bill.

The spot was spot on, beds were comfy and the room was roomy with a decent bathroom and parking. Both dinner and breakfast turned out great.
