The proximity to the wedding venue was a plus. The lack of information and the price were. no one warned us that the bathroom and toilets were shared! We would never have rented here if we’d known that beforehand.

The place shouldn’t be listed as a bed‑and‑breakfast on Booking; it’s meant for renting the whole house. The biggest issue is the shared bathroom, poor soundproofing in the rooms, and no breakfast. There’s no physical welcome—just a note telling you to pick up the key from the mailbox. The price is steep: 170 euros a night without a private bathroom or breakfast, which feels inappropriate.

We were lucky to have the place all to ourselves (it would have been nice to avoid sharing), the house was beautiful, the hosts were friendly, the courtyard was secure for overnight bike storage, and it probably became our favorite spot on the trip—just a really nice and relaxing place. The downside is that, traveling by bike, it’s a bit far from shops, though only a few minutes by car, and we managed to get Uber Eats.

The house is very large, very clean, and very comfortable, with all the necessary equipment, so you can travel lighter.

The proximity to Château de Maudétour, the wedding venue we were attending, and the host’s telephone availability were positives. The price‑quality ratio was poor: too expensive for the area and especially for the services offered—one bathroom and one shared water‑closet for four rooms, a noisy wet‑room toilet, very hard bedding (though I usually prefer that), no drawers or shelves for clothes, no full‑length mirror; our friends had a four‑person room with a single mattress on the floor, which was outrageous.
