“A fuir !”

The room was spacious and beautiful, yet the staff were rude and unhelpful, even though we never had issues with the translator elsewhere. They claimed to have upgraded us to a thermal bath (a small stone tub outside) even though we only stayed one day, wasting time. Taxis could not locate the hotel street; when we asked the hostess to confirm the address, she replied the meal could be delivered to the room, which seemed odd. Taxis refused to pick us up twice, and the bathroom door was left open because "our neighbors could see us pee," which was a major annoyance.

I stayed just a few minutes from the railway station and only a 5‑minute drive to Baoguo temple, surrounded by a charming traditional neighborhood. The pool was nice and the breakfast was good, but the room lacked a fridge and the walls felt thin.
