Gasthof Goldene Traube, a historic inn on Golling’s market square, offers traditional Austrian cuisine, free bicycle hire, and free parking. Each room features cable TV, a seating area, and a hairdryer-equipped bathroom. Lockable bike storage sits beside the Tauernradweg trail. The Aqua Salza spa and train station are a 5‑minute walk, while Salzburg lies 24 km away via the A10 motorway.

The staff is super friendly, the location of the inn is very good, the breakfast is more than sufficient (good quality). Parking is good and plenty. The room needs renovation (the bed is very bad, the headboard is clearly worn). Also there are many spider webs that surely didn’t appear the day before. All in all, one night is tolerable, longer I wouldn’t recommend, but that’s my personal opinion.

The bed was a nightmare – the headboard was in terrible shape and the upholstery fell off onto my head. The sheets looked like they’d been used by other guests before I arrived. Aside from that, everything else was fine.

The spot is great, the staff were friendly, the room had a nice view, and the building felt authentic. The bed was comfy, too.
