Located 2 miles from Emporia town centre, the Super 8 by Wyndham Emporia offers rooms with microwaves, refrigerators, flat-screen cable TVs, and free Wi-Fi. Each room features a work desk and colourful bedding. A daily breakfast to go is served, and guests can use a launderette and vending machines. The hotel is near the David Traylor Zoo and accessible from Highway 50 and Interstate 35.

The staff were very kind, and we ended up liking everything.

The staff at the hotel were absolutely fantastic. We arrived for Unbound and they had us set up long before the ride, then really excelled with help afterward. They handed us a hose and rags to clean our bikes and even trash bags for dirty clothes, all while flashing a warm smile and cheer. I can’t overstate how much their assistance and friendliness meant!

Breakfast was very minimal, just the bare essentials, and the coffee came from a machine that wasn’t very good. There was no coffee in the room, and the space to sit and relax in the room was tiny. There was no common area to unwind either.
