I really liked the island, its beauty, marine life, and the hospitality of the people. I’ve been to San Blas before, and this place is incredibly gorgeous. Lots of fish and starfish, and plenty of seaweed on the sand. No luxury at all. Those not used to it will find the accommodation awful. Food is only fish or chicken, caught fresh. I’ll come back again. The rooms are very rustic, no windows. You have to leave the door open for airflow. Still, spending a night or two here will be unforgettable. Another point: the island should be better preserved by the guests, as it’s full of beautiful snails and shells that no longer exist elsewhere in the world, and they’re left carelessly on the island. Many tourists I saw brought some home. It’s a shame.
