We spent one night at the hotel before heading to the Samut line. The price was relatively high for the area, and we thought we’d get a nice room with a good breakfast after a long trip. The river view from the room was amazing, and the place itself was stunning and well kept, with a small but very clean water park. Young kids were thrilled. The area is quiet, but we knew that before booking. Bottom line: good for one or two nights before the ferry for families with small children who can enjoy the water park. The rooms were very basic, it took us a while to find the front desk because everything was dark; we eventually found a phone on the sign and called them. The front desk staff didn’t speak English and the place looked abandoned. The shower door was frosted glass, so light came into the room in the morning. The drainage during the shower didn’t work properly and we had to put a towel in place to stop the water from leaking out. Breakfast was delivered to the room, but even after explaining we were vegetarians (with Google Translate help), they brought us a meal with sausage.
