The lodge is nice and in a peaceful setting, ideal for a short getaway and relaxation. It’s a good size, has everything needed for self‑catering, the Wi‑Fi is solid, and it’s close to the river. Nothing was wrong; everything worked well. It’s a shame the new owners locked the footbridge gate to Caer Beris Manor, but that’s beyond anyone’s control.

The stay was perfect: the property was lovely, comfortable, and everything was just right. We truly enjoyed our visit to Elan Valley and would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you!
The location was perfect as a base for exploring the area, exactly as advertised, and offered great space for two people and a small dog. The site was quiet and well kept.

Everything was clean and well equipped, and the new shower was fantastic with plenty of hot water and comfortable beds. The only issue was that the balcony gate was a bit rickety, but it functioned fine.

We never actually stayed because the site manager asked us to leave on the first night; we had booked a business stay, which was apparently not accepted. The owner of Daffodil Lodge did everything she could to help, but she was limited by her position. The manager’s treatment was unacceptable, and no compromise was offered. The owner was accommodating and helpful, and the place was clean and tidy during the brief time we were there.
