I loved staying at Vila Gale with my daughter. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the room was cozy, the breakfast excellent, and all services were geared toward a relaxing stay. At night, the ventilation noise (not the AC, which was off) became a bit annoying, probably because I was sleeping very lightly.

The hotel sits in a great spot with a pleasant surrounding, but the car charger had issues.

The staff were very friendly, the facilities were pretty, and the breakfast was tasty and varied; we also had a good meal at the restaurant. The spa could use improvement: the pool jets lacked pressure, and seeing kids using the spa pool as a play area was odd—something I've seen in Portugal but not in Spain. A spa should be a place to relax; kids can splash in the outdoor pool instead. The hotel should enforce rules and have staff monitor usage.

The location was wonderful, but there was a strong pipe smell in the hallways and room that woke us up at night.

The breakfast layout was confusing; the central island blocked access to the buffet, and despite the reservation time it was hard to get to the buffet properly. The front desk didn't provide information about parking spots reserved for the nearby school, which is in front of the hotel, leading to parking tickets even though we had asked about parking options.
