Located in beautifully manicured gardens overlooking Harrogate town, DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel & Spa offers 2-minute access to the town centre and a 10-minute walk to Harrogate Rail Station. The hotel features flat-screen TVs, WiFi, and tea/coffee makers in each room, with some offering garden views. The on-site restaurant serves breakfast and dinner, and the hotel is close to the Harrogate Convention Centre and Yorkshire Event Centre.

The location and the main areas of the hotel were fine, but a water leak in the bathroom ceiling ruined our sleep, and even after we changed rooms the staff didn’t show empathy; the gym was dirty and some equipment was broken.

The towels and robes were dirty on nights 1 and 2, and a loud event rattled the room until almost 3 am, even loosening the shower fixtures.

Fab old hotel in a great location, the only slight negative was the conference that made the bar area noisy and very busy

The spa was excellent and we enjoyed it a lot! It would be great to have the option of two single beds at the same price as the double king room. We were disappointed that the dinner we had already paid for offered only a small number of dishes within the £30 allowance, which left us with very limited choice and made us feel we had to count every option. We also hadn’t expected that spa access would be limited to one visit per day.
