The staff were very friendly and professional, making it a real pleasure to stay in this hotel right in the village center. Breakfast was generous, but the dining area was cramped, so we had to squeeze between chairs and stools to reach the buffet.

The vibe at this hotel feels incredibly cozy. We truly felt special—like we mattered. Everyone on the team was friendly and helpful; the manager has built a fantastic crew. The décor is unique, creating beautiful interiors. The chocolate shop on the ground floor smells so wonderful that a smile instantly appears on everyone’s face when they walk in. Laura, the breakfast manager, is also incredibly kind; beyond the delicious food, the atmosphere feels very much like a family gathering. The pool and spa area may not be huge, but it is beautifully designed, and the pool was just right for a good swim. The hotel’s location is excellent, tucked away a bit yet practically in the city center, so everything is close by. If we ever return to the area, we’ll definitely choose this hotel again! Once more, congratulations to the manager for creating such a special place with their team. Janina

We loved our stay at the Grand Hôtel Soleil d’Or in Megève. Located right in the village center, the hotel is intimate, warm, and full of charm. Our room was superb, with gorgeous décor and amazing bedding—we slept like babies! Between the spa, the delicious restaurant, and the very family‑like atmosphere of this small‑scale hotel, everything is set for a true unwind and pampering. It’s a place you want to return to for a few days, both in winter and summer. Perfect for a relaxing break in Megève. The only downside was having to book a time slot to use the spa.
