I’d stayed at Conrad‑23 before and it was decent, but they’ve upgraded everything since then—the beds feel incredibly comfortable and the duvet is wonderfully soft, the rooms and bathrooms have been refreshed, and the dining hall got a modern makeover that looks very nice. Julie ran the breakfast and it was superb; every dish she prepared was delicious and beautifully presented, even the brewed coffee was spot‑on. Angnar at the front desk provided top‑level service just like Julie. Their sauna and adjoining pool made Saturday unforgettable. I’m really grateful I chose Conrad again, and my brother—who’s used to five‑star hotels abroad—was also very pleased. Julie, Angnar, see you next time; you made the other city options irrelevant. Thanks for a pleasant weekend. The only downside was that the weather could have been better.

The courtyard is a lovely spot for a beer or a glass of wine in the evening or for breakfast in the morning, the beds are true 90/180 cm sizes, and the breakfast is perfect.

The location is ideal for exploring Karlskrona on foot, the breakfast buffet is very tasty and plentiful, the staff are completely friendly and attentive, and the receptionist gave us great tips. I’d definitely recommend the hotel and would stay again.

Breakfast was good, only the pancakes were dry. Otherwise the spread was wide and the coffee tasty. I could have used more homemade items, croissants and danishes were missing. The gym and spa were small; I wished for more spa time and the price felt high for what was offered. The room was too warm, the small fan didn’t help. I expected more bathroom products given the cost we paid.
