The venue has great potential, looks beautiful, and the service was excellent; the breakfast was included in the price. However, being inside the park with no other nearby dining options made the food price seem excessive.

The owner and his daughter never stop working. The meals were good, and his daughter was very attentive to guests, creating a family vibe. Yet the experience at Jasayma Tayrona was terrible, so bad that I left before my stay finished—a first for me. The main issue was noise: what was presented as a terrace was actually a shared passage right in front of the rooms, where guests would gather and talk loudly, offering almost no privacy. From the first night, I also endured heavy traffic and truck noise until late evening, feeling like I was sleeping on a highway. On the second night, a Saturday, the situation worsened: a very noisy group, children running and slamming doors, conversations outside my room, and banging on walls made it impossible to sleep. I told reception around 22:30 that I would leave the next morning. When I reported the problem, there seemed to be no real effort to restore quiet for other guests. The room itself was disappointing: only window screens, no bed net, and many bites during the night—though I couldn’t confirm their source. Some power outlets protruded, which felt unsafe; charging my devices was slow, and my adapter eventually broke. The mattress was mediocre, and the towel provided seemed unclean. After announcing my early departure, I was told breakfast would be at 7 am, whereas the schedule given earlier was 7:30 am, which felt unwelcoming. The next morning, at departure, the owner’s daughter apologized for the situation, and I appreciated that.

The Hostal Jasayma in Parque Tayrona is an absolute gem! Our stay was simply spectacular from start to finish, shining in every detail: Unmatched service—Maro, the reception girl, was the best and undoubtedly the best in Tayrona, treating us with extraordinary care and friendliness from the moment we arrived, helping with our luggage and attending to everything we needed; she even took us to the coffee sugar! No one treats me better than my own mother. Pure warmth and attention. Excellent food—our restaurant’s cuisine surprised us greatly with delicious, well-prepared dishes that tasted amazing for recharging energy. Comfort and rest—the facilities are super comfortable, well maintained, and perfect for disconnecting. At night, the rest is total in a quiet, restorative environment. Guidance and tips—we also thank the young team member who gave us brutal advice on the best routes to explore Parque Tayrona. A 100% recommendable place we’ll return to without hesitation. Thanks for making us feel at home! The only thing I didn’t like was not being able to stay there forever, haha.

The facilities are very pretty, the tranquility and a natural and pleasant ecosystem. It’s a bit far from all the beaches.
