I got exactly what I expected: a modest but clean place near the locals, where you can chat and try the local food. It’s quiet, and the view from the windows is spectacular. If you run into any issues or have extra questions, Said will help you. I’ll definitely come back to Imlil and use his place again.

The room was basic but still comfortable (and we’re not picky). Getting there by car is a bit tricky. Said is friendly, and you can have dinner on site; the price is a little high but reasonable compared to restaurants. Breakfast was good. The bathroom had an odor.

It was truly an amazing stay in every way. Said was friendly, welcoming, and quick to respond via message, which was very helpful during our visit. He arranged a guide and the gear we needed to summit Mount Toubkal for a very fair price. All the food we ate was excellent and the mountain views were lovely. Great value overall and I’d recommend it to anyone planning to visit Imlil. The only downside is that the lodge sits on a small hill; you have to walk a little hill from town, but it’s just a 5‑minute walk from the taxi pick‑up/drop‑off point, and the hill gives better views, so it’s worth it.
