The place is well‑located, clean, and comfortable—everything I liked, and nobody bothered me. However, it was impossible to heat or cook anything. The electric stove doesn’t heat, and the induction cooktop only works if you have cookware with a special bottom coating; otherwise it throws an error and stays off. I had to buy a pan with that coating, and there’s no electric kettle or coffee maker.

The location is close to the center of Ortigia. The room is okay, but the bathroom is separate. The building is old and hasn’t been renovated, and the kitchen doesn’t work – there wasn’t even water.

The spot is good. The bathroom is a huge, damp, windowless space. Overall it’s pretty nice and has potential, but nothing meets the minimum standard (typical of Italy): the bed springs are half‑broken. The bathroom is still super wet as mentioned. Distance and price are acceptable, but honestly… Italy, I’m being ironic.

The place is forgettable; the keys open every door, and we were robbed. The owner couldn’t offer any solution, so we left because we didn’t feel safe. Terrible, zero help, a ridiculous stove, and the AC doesn’t work.
