The hosts were fantastic, the place was spotless and spacious enough to unwind. The bed was comfy, the breakfast lovely, and I’d definitely recommend it and come back.

We booked both rooms and could use the entire living area and garden with two terraces. Even though the house is right on the highway, everything is built back so traffic noise isn’t heard in the rooms or on the terraces. The breakfast was excellently prepared, and in the evenings we could heat our meals in the microwave, use the provided dishes (which we washed afterward), and sit comfortably at the dining table. Terry and Allison were incredibly kind and helpful, gave us tips, and at the end of our stay even gave us a bag full of scones. It was the best B&B during our two‑week tour of South England. The only downside is that the apartment is a bit off‑the‑beaten‑path, so you have to drive for everything, but with the in‑room facilities that’s not a problem if you don’t want to drive to a restaurant at night.

“Warm welcome”

The welcome was so warm it felt like we were almost family. Terry offered plenty of helpful advice to explore the area. The breakfast was exactly what you’d expect from an English breakfast and gave you the energy for most of the day. The garden is nice and offers a view of the sea with beautiful sunsets. There’s no kitchen, but you do get a microwave and enough dishes for supper. The road is close, but we heard no traffic, which makes the place easy to get to.

Breakfast was very good. A heated towel rail would be useful because the towels felt damp.
