“Disappointed”
It was my second visit and everything was excellent, but when I arrived at 14:00 after a long drive the room wasn’t ready until 15:15 and they offered no compensation or even a fruit basket.

Everything was really great, but the power switches were confusing and there were a lot of them.

Nothing good at all! Jaipur House, supposedly run by the Jaipur Royal Family, turned out to be the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It was overpriced, poorly maintained, and the staff were arrogant, unprofessional, and untrained. Our troubles began the moment we checked in after driving over 1000 km when we were greeted by Kesar Singh, one of the most rude front‑desk executives I’ve ever seen. We were given a tiny, cramped room where the AC didn’t work properly, the kettle was faulty and could have caused injury, the quilts had blood stains, the pillows and couch were uncomfortable, the TV was low quality, and the room was dim and dingy with mosquitoes everywhere—everything felt old and run down. They even tried to charge extra for a 10‑year‑old child, adding 3–4 k per night, a fee that no other 5‑star hotel charges for a child under 12. When we complained about the room they upgraded us, but we couldn’t move into the new room until the next day, so the first night we had to stay in the cramped space. The hotel was almost empty, with no other guests, which made it feel unsafe and scary. They charge like a 5‑star hotel just because of the location, but their management is so poor that even a 1‑star rating would be better. At checkout they even charged us for extra water bottles—water should be free, and they claimed we only get two free bottles per room, which was bizarre. At 11 am they started pestering us to leave, even though most hotels allow checkout at 12 pm, and the hotel was still empty. We left by 12 pm regardless. The checkout process was slow; it took them 20–30 minutes to print the bill and let us go.

The garden was beautiful, the restaurant excellent, and the staff were very warm and welcoming, but the linen could have been cleaner.

The décor was beautiful, but it wasn’t maintained at all; the staff needed better training (their uniforms were stained, they wore slippers), toiletries were missing, and management was weak.
