The room is big enough and modern, the furniture and appliances are in good condition, there’s a washing machine and a starter kit of cleaning supplies and Nespresso coffee pods, the location is close to the beach and has good public transport links (bus, tram), access is via PIN code, communication is quick if you ask in the evening, otherwise a bit slow. For a stay that included dinner or similar, the room turned out to be too small and uncomfortable; there were only two pieces of dishware, the drains smelled like the typical Mediterranean dampness, the toilet seat wobbled, the bed was quite hard, especially the pillows which were thick and rock‑hard, and no softer pillows or extra blankets were offered on request. The hotel sits between two streets, one with a bus and the other with a tram, so it’s loud enough that you can’t sleep with the window open; the walls are very sound‑transmitting, so you could easily overhear the neighbor’s conversations.
