This place feels like home when I go to Ha Long; the room and bathroom are huge and airy, super clean and fragrant, and the front desk staff were enthusiastic and pointed out many great restaurants, so I’ll keep coming back.

Nothing good. I couldn’t speak English with anyone, the room wasn’t fresh, the air was bad, there was no toilet paper, and at reception there was a man who could only say one English word, “money”.

My trip began badly because of the lack of credibility at Boston Halong Hotel. Even though my reservation was confirmed in the system, the hotel forced me to pay a deposit outside the app. When I arrived, the front desk straightaway said the rooms were full and refused to accept me without any apology or alternative accommodation suggestions. Being pushed into that situation during hot weather left me exhausted and helpless, and I’m writing this review out of deep disappointment with how this tourist facility operates in Ha Long. I was lucky to find a better place to stay, but I will never return.
