Perched on a hill and far from street noise, the hotel offers a pleasant view of the famous bridge and a short walk to nearby restaurants and bars; rooms are clean, parking is huge, and the receptionist is exceptionally friendly, earning an extra point. However, some parts of the room and bathroom could use a refresh.

The parking is great, the city is close enough but a car is needed for convenience, especially for tea and coffee, and there is a fridge in the room. The pillows are lacking and there is no view.

They don’t normally serve breakfast, but when we asked they managed to bring it to our rooms; the blind in the room makes an annoying rattling noise when it hits the wall and only works properly when fully rolled up, while the water pressure is so low that taking a shower or even brushing your teeth is a struggle.

I loved the view from the room, looking straight at the Napoleon Bridge. The room was big enough and the beds comfortable.
