The hosts were incredibly friendly and took great care of us – exactly what I needed after a long trip, so the place felt perfect for a break. The only downside was the spotty Wi‑Fi in the room, which made it hard to get online.

The hotel sits right on a beautiful beach and the owner was helpful, speaking French fluently, which made check‑in easy. Unfortunately, it’s the only spot to grab a bite around here, so dining options are pretty limited.

Roberto, the owner, was super nice and patient – he waited for us for hours when the ferry was delayed, never once making us feel rushed. The beach nearby is lovely, and we left feeling completely relaxed.

This place is a solid choice if you want to unwind by the sea; we even got upgraded to a spacious room with a terrace overlooking the water and lounge chairs for sun‑bathing. The restaurant downstairs serves good food and the staff are pleasant, but the hotel is pretty out of town – having a car is almost essential.

The beachfront location is fantastic, but the wind constantly whistled through the bedroom, making sleep difficult even on calm days. There was no tap in the bathroom, no TV, and the owner wasn’t very accommodating, so overall it fell short of expectations.
