“Gorgeous location, great place to rest your head but not very plush”

The spot is spot on—right on the beach. The couple running the place were nice, and we got a discount at a nearby restaurant that had super friendly staff. The bed was comfy, and the host kept me in the loop and was easy to reach. Plenty of power outlets were available. The transfer was hard to spot in the dark, which made it a little stressful. I had to stay in the cabin because there was no tent left. It wasn’t the cleanest or most luxurious, but it did the job for sleeping, getting ready, and washing. The shower area wasn’t the cleanest either.

“Not very welcoming for camping in high summer”

We slept soundly; the airbed held up and didn’t deflate, and the electric fan plus the sea breeze kept us cool enough to rest. Two tents were set up with a privacy screen between them. The toilet was clean. There are also three cabins that should be listed separately. Finding the site’s entrance was tough. We were given GPS coordinates but needed extra driving directions when we couldn’t get in. No signage was posted at the gate. Maybe we’re just getting too old for camping. A little shade exists between the tent and the wire fence facing the beach, but that’s all. Each cabin has a veranda for afternoon shade, but there’s no structure to shade tent renters. The area is otherwise full sun, making the whole space feel unwelcoming. In the high summer heat, the only refuge from the sun was the restaurant 100 m away. The beach is obviously there. We didn’t use the shower. The experience might have been better if daytime temperatures were 5–10 °C cooler, but that’s beyond the operators’ control.
