The owner is very kind and tries to make you feel comfortable in the house, even bringing me dinner from a nearby restaurant at a tourist price. The room is very old and the bed uncomfortable, and it feels expensive for the quality, but there aren’t many alternatives if you’re hiking the Pekoe Trail.

“Awesome pit stop for those doing the Pekoe trail!”

I was blown away by the warmth and hospitality of Mount Queens. Karmegam and his family made me and my husband feel like part of the family - we even got to hang out with their adorable German Shepherds. The meals were delicious and the atmosphere was so cozy. Just a heads up, though: don't forget to bring your own towel, as they don't provide one. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a home away from home in Bogawanthala.

The family at this place was super friendly and made me feel right at home. The location was perfect for hiking the Pekoe Trail, and the food was amazing - both dinner and breakfast were top-notch. I felt like I was getting a real taste of the local culture.

Our host was an absolute gem - super friendly, spoke great English, and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was separate from the living space, so we had plenty of quiet time to ourselves. He even helped us find a great veggie restaurant in town. Just be aware that the shower is a bit old-school - no shower head, just a bucket-style setup. But hey, it's a great opportunity to try something new if you're feeling adventurous.
