Brilliant location for walking around town; the reception staff were excellent and helpful, and breakfast was excellent. The room and the rest of the hotel were full of old charm—a real old‑world hotel in lovely condition. The plumbing in the bathroom didn’t drain well, the safe didn’t work, and there was only one coffee per room, but that’s all, so I’m not complaining. I would recommend.

The location and the building itself were good, and our room was spacious. One of the receptionists was not friendly, the breakfast was overpriced for being standard, and there was no easy way to get hot water for tea or regular water.

The staff were exceptional and the building looked gorgeous, but the basic bedroom and bathroom setup was a bit uncomfortable.

Wonderful old palace with large rooms and shower baths. Quiet setting in the old town. Very central for all sightseeing. The breakfast is not intoxicating.
