Dumbara Peak Residence

Room 24 was pleasant, clean, well‑maintained, and had a modern bathroom. The same‑day laundry service worked, and we were happy to get 1 kg for free while paying for the rest; the staff were very helpful. The rooftop restaurant was an added bonus because it sold alcohol. The location was very convenient in the city center, and the room did not face the street, so it wasn’t overtly noisy at night. Hot water was scarce, and at first there was no kettle in the room, but we eventually received one that was partially broken.

The location was very good, the owners were kind, there was laundry available, a kettle was provided, the place was clean, and the water was warm.

The location was good, everything was within walking distance, and the rooftop café was great with a very nice night view. It was difficult to find a parking spot nearby.

“Prima voor 1 nacht”

The location was very pleasant, the staff were friendly, and the bed was clean. However, the bed was quite unstable; the edges where the mosquito net hung looked very loose and crooked.

“Wouldn’t recommend”

Location is quite convenient as you’re walking distance to a lot of things you might want to see/do as a tourist. The room was completely different from the pictures. It only had a small window and it was musty, it was situated on the first floor just next to reception and it was extremely noisy. Especially at night (even late, like 1/2am) there was a lot of noise made by some of the people working there, who where talking very loudly for long periods of time and I found it very annoying and also disrespectful as they know there’s guests sleeping. It didn’t feel very private and comfortable at all and there was also a persistent sound made by something broken with the electric panel
