The staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool was nice. However, the resort sits high up the hill, making the walk up a bit steep and tiring. The rooms felt somewhat outdated, tap water wasn’t polished to a shine, and I found some parts of the blanket torn.

The beach was just a short walk away, and at the end of the street right on the sand you could buy tickets for the boat to Railey Beach for 200 baht each way. Our family of four stayed in two rooms linked by a balcony and we didn’t hear any street nightlife. The pool water tasted odd and irritated our eyes, and the room was basic but adequate.

The breakfast offered a wide range of sweet and savoury choices and was very tasty. After a long day of sweating, the pool was a wonderful place to relax. The room was spacious and featured a nice balcony view. The seafood restaurant located right at the bottom of the driveway is insanely good—MUST EAT if you stay here :) The location sits atop a steep hill and is uphill from Ao Nang main beach, so walking can be tiring for those with mobility issues, but it is still walkable.

The hotel is very beautiful and well situated. The only downside is that it sits on a steep hill and the air conditioning can feel a bit strong.
